Joseph Patrick Coats

Joseph Patrick Coats, 58 years old, of Pasadena, passed away March 30, 2023 after a hard-fought battle with cancer. He was born in Houston, Texas on December 3, 1964 to Joe and Jane Coats. He was married to Michelle Coats for 30 years. Joseph had a long career in the HVAC-refrigeration industry that spanned over forty years working for varied companies. His most recent employer, Centigrade, was by far his favorite. He was a member of The Church Triumphant. He had a passion for wood-working and his family home is filled with hand-crafted pieces.

He was preceded in death by his father Joe Coats and his mother Jane Coats.

He is survived by his wife Michelle, son Gabriel and his wife Becky and their children Griffin, Gideon, and Willow; and daughter Sarah and her son Jeremiah.

Joseph's brother Bill Coats, wife Jeanne, their son William, wife Kirby and children. Bill's sons Jonathan and Collin; His brother James, wife Debbie, their son Ryan, wife Samantha and children. James' son Breck, wife Shelby and their child; His brother Dale and son Cole; His sister Lynn, wife Rhonda.

A visitation for Joseph will be held Tuesday, April 4, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at The Church Triumphant, 1030 Strawberry Rd, Pasadena, TX 77506. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, April 4, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 1030 Strawberry Rd, Pasadena, TX 77506.

A graveside service will occur Tuesday, April 4, 2023 from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598.
