Joyce Faye Golden

Joyce Faye Wooley Golden, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2013 in League City, TX. Mrs. Golden was born July 6, 1942 in Holland, TX. Joyce was raised in Holland by her parents, Lloyd and Marie Wooley. She is preceded in death by her son Robert Golden; her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Wooley and sisters Lavern Jenkins and Helen Karl.

Left to cherish her memory are husband, Emmett Golden , Charles Golden and wife Joyce, David Golden and wife Cindy, Pamela Golden, all of League City; Patricia Threadgill and husband Billy of Pearland, TX. She is also survived by grandchildren Jessica Hernandez and husband Ryan, Billy Threadgill, Jr. and wife Amanda, Brandon Threadgill, Brooke Threadgill, Sandy and Brian Edwards, Alexandria Golden Matamoros and husband Josh, Justin Golden,Alyssa Walker, Darrin and Rachel Watkins, Charlotte, Braden, Miller Watkins, Marie Watkins, Dominic and Josiah Smith. Mrs. Golden is also survived by great grandchildren: Robbie and Cash Hernandez, Haley and Tyler Threadgill, Matt and Ava Matamoros, Jayce Matamoros, Lacey and Drew Finley and Briana. Joyce is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews who will continue to cherish and honor her memory.

The family will be accepting friends on Thursday, May 30, 2013, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral service will be held Friday, May 31, 2013, at 10:00 am at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Guld Fwy, Webster, TX 77598.
