She was born in Plainview, Texas on March 26, 1933, to Henry and Louise Boriack. She was married to Edward Kennedy for 66 years.
Joyce was a member of Dorcas Guild at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband; Edward Kennedy, son; Steve Kennedy, parents; Henry and Louis Boriack, brother; Fred Lee Boriack, sisters; Edna Mae Feigler, Margie Cooley, Beatrice Ross, and Deborah Lazarine.
She is survived by her daughter; Sheila Tadlock, son; Mark Kennedy, nine grandchildren, and sixteen great grandchildren.
