Judith Mulkey Hernandez was born on February 8, 1950 in New Orleans, Louisiana. She enlisted and served honorably in the Air Force. She graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Arts in French. Judy married Huey Hernandez in 1974; they had a long and happy life together, parenting two children, Leah and Todd. Judy had a generosity of spirit that meant her house was always a home for her family and friends. She was always ready with conversation and offers of food and drink. Judy is survived by her daughter Leah Franco; her son Todd; her mother Sharon Hale; and siblings Beth McCorkle, John Mulkey, Lisa Raper, and Carol Hrolenok.
