Kenneth Robert (Bob) White, 64, of Webster, Texas passed away peacefully on February 23, 2021. Bob was born on November 10, 1956 in Pasadena, Texas to parents Dixie and Ken White. He was raised in Pasadena and Houston, Texas and graduated from Madison High School in 1975, where he played his favorite sport football.
After high school graduation, Bob worked for Brown and Root for several years and then onto Vetco Gray where he enjoyed a successful career for over 34 years. He held various positions at Vetco Gray with his last position being his most beloved position working with the Vetco Gray Chevron Team.
Bob met Linda, the love of his life, while working at Vetco Gray and they married on June 27, 1987. His love for Linda and all their furry friends was undeniable. Bob was often found relaxing in his recliner with several adopted rescue dogs on his lap. How he loved his rescue pups!
Bob’s favorite hobbies were fishing, anywhere one could fish, but his favorite spot was Chocolate Bayou, and hunting, anywhere one could hunt but his favorite spot was Joe’s Hunting Camp.
Bob is survived by his wife of 33 years, Linda, his mother, Dixie White, his sister, Terri White, his brother Brett and his wife Stacey, and brothers-in-law Bill and Edward Anderson. His five nephews: Cameron White (Stacey), Chase White (Sierra), Jacob Anderson (Corrie), Joshua Anderson, Zachary Anderson (Whitney); one niece Auslynn Anderson; and several great nieces and nephews.
Bob was preceded in death by his father, Ken White.
There will be a celebration of life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Tails in Transition Animal Rescue, 2407 W Parkwood Ste 124, Friendswood, TX 77546.
