It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Leslie Meagan Belinsky. After a brave battle with breast cancer, Leslie passed peacefully in Houston, Texas, on December 2, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. She was 39 years old.

Leslie was born on April 8, 1979, in Freeport, Texas, to her parents, John Andrews, III, and Linda Grubb. She grew up in a large extended family with her twin sister, younger brother, and twelve cousins.

Leslie married the love of her life, Cheyne Belinsky, on February 7th, 2009, in Clear Lake, Texas. They shared a home together with their beloved pets, Lilly and Brix, in Friendswood, Texas.

Leslie was a dedicated educator with over 17 years of experience at Clear Creek ISD. Her love of children and community fueled her passion for elementary education. Leslie remained grateful for the support of her friends and colleagues from Gilmore Elementary and Clear Creek ISD.

I am so heartbroken to hear of the passing of Leslie. I only met her once, but if she was like her sister Lindsie, she was a pure jewel. To you Lindsie, and your entire family; please know that you all are in my prayers. I pray God’s comfort, strength, and love be with you always. I worked with Lindsie at Bauerschlag Elementary School. Be Blessed! Rose🌹

I have a very heavy heart that I will never be able to speak to this beautiful lady again. I can’t stop thinking of all the wonderful memories of Lindsie and Leslie taking my daughter Kaali and her whole team to their apartment for sleep overs, and movies and only they know what else they did. I just know my daughter looked so forward to her time with those two. Leslie know you and your family are always in our hearts 💕 and prayers. You will be sorely missed beautiful lady. RIP Leslie. You will never be forgotten 💜💜💜💜💜💜

Wow my heart is really heavy. I met Leslie on her initial visit to Texas Oncology. She was my jewel. I thank God that our paths cross I just hate the way they crossed. Lesie has this smile that would light up the office and she never complained. Leslie, her mom and twin were such amazing ladies. It is my prayer that God will wrap his arms around her husband and the entire family in this season. Leslie is now completely healed from this horrific disease. Rest on my Angel. Gone but you shall never be forgotten in my heart!
