Lillian "Lee" Herrera Patterson, 87, of Houston died June 7, 2015. She was born on Feb. 4, 1928 in Cuero, Texas, the daughter of late John Herrera and Pauline Mondin. She was preceded in death by her late husband William "Bill" Patterson, daughter Barbara L Patterson, sister Mayz Adams and brothers Johnny and Roy Herrera. Lee is survived by two sons William and Robert; daughter Patricia Patterson of Houston; as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. A graduate of Nazareth Academy in Victoria, Texas. She worked at Lockheed Air Force Base in San Antonio where she met and married the love of her life. Moved to Houston and raised her family. She retired as an Executive Secretary to the Regional District Manager of the Marriott Hotel. Lee was a member of the St. Lukes Church and of the Catholic Daughters of America. She lived her life to the fullest. She loved to dance, watch TV, movies and the food network. She especially loved fish tacos. Memorial service will be held at St. Lukes Church on Friday, June 26, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested everyone try to live as Jesus did. Donations may be sent to anyone in need.
