

Lisa was born on March 4, 1961, in Texas City, Texas to William Robert Marshall and Frieda Helen (Goetzmann) Hartfield. She was a member of the Class of 1979 at Texas City High School and graduated from The University of Houston – Clear Lake with a degree in Accounting. She went on to work her entire career at Marathon Oil Company in Texas City and at the corporate office in Houston before enjoying a well-earned early retirement.
Lisa will be remembered for her love of travel. She was always up for exploring a new city, country or cruise ship. Even more than traveling the world, Lisa will be remembered for her love of animals. She loved animals of all kinds, but especially dogs. She spoiled her fur babies at home and at her local animal rescue shelters. Lisa will be remembered by her family with love for the way she took care of everyone around her.
Lisa is survived by her husband of 20 years, John Hein; her daughter, Brooke Parson and her husband, Jamie Spencer; her step-daughters, Kristine Hein and Jennifer Hein; her step-son, Matthew Hein and his wife Candace Hein. She is also survived by her mother, Frieda Hartfield and brother, Robert (Bobby) Marshall. Lisa is survived by her six grandchildren; Karleigh, Raegan, Paisley, Lily, Tyler and Katelynn along with her two nephews; Alex and Michael. She is also survived by her fur babies; Blaze & Harper.
A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, April 17, 2026 at 10am at Forest Park East Funeral Home & Cemetery in Webster, Texas. With a reception following at Pappasito’s, 20099 Gulf Freeway, Webster.
