Lois Marie Head

Lois Marie Head, age 97, passed away peacefully November 12, 2020. She was born on May 11, 1923 in Nacogdoches, Texas to Minnie Ada Walters and Wade Moten Walters. She married A.D. Head in 1947 who preceded her in death 1981. Lois loved life and the people in it. She was a retired telephone operator who worked for Southwestern Bell for 42 years before retiring. She enjoyed collecting dolls and other antiquities, gardening, needle point, cooking and being around her family. Lois had a servant heart and was very active in her church, Wesley United Methodist in Beaumont Texas. Lois is survived by her only son, Charles Ralph Roberson and daughter-in-law, Patricia Gayle Roberson. Lois is also survived by three grandchildren, Terri Divine and husband Michael Divine, Christopher Roberson and wife Kimberly Roberson, Ginger Autrey and husband Jody Autrey along with a seven great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. A graveside interment will be held 1:00 PM on Monday November 16th 2020 at Magnolia Cemetery, 2291 Pine Street, Beaumont, Texas 77703. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or a charity of your choice.
