

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. A devout catholic and was very involved in the church. A small business owner who was also involved in his community. He loved his Astros and was fortunate enough to see them win 2 World Series. He also loved his Oilers (until they moved away). He was also supportive of his family, his children, and grandchildren’s activities while growing up. He was able to fulfill a lifelong dream of his, to have a great-grandchild. He will be missed.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Maria Espinosa Vasquez; children, Luis Carlos Vasquez Jr. (son), Marco Antonio Vasquez (son), Juan Alfonso Vasquez (son); grandchildren Daniel Vasquez, Bryan Bostick, Sara Vasquez, Amarice (Reecie) Vasquez; great-grandchild Milton Anthony Escobedo; sisters Mavi (Mero) Torres and Norma Vasquez; sisters-in-law Gloria Vasquez, Nellie Vasquez, and Linda Vasquez along with numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
He was preceded by his father, Castulo Vasquez; mother, Juana Gomez Vasquez; brothers, Castulo Vasquez, Jr. and his wife Elizabeth; Juan Vasquez and wife Chela; Roberto Vasquez, Leonel Vasquez, Rene Vasquez and Noe Vasquez; his sisters, Minera Mora and Natalie Martin and her husband, Ralph.
A visitation at Forest Park East Funeral Home in Webster for Charlie will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. A funeral mass at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Galena Park will be on Friday, November 17, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. and a committal service to follow at Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared below for the Vasquez family.
