April 1, 1939 to William and Myrtle Trimble. He was married to his loving wife, Barbara Trimble, for 56 years.
As a teenager and younger man Luther loved catching and raising snakes, much to his mother's and
wife's chagrin. Luther had a career with Centerpoint Energy, formerly Houston Lighting and Power, for 38
years. He loved his Church, spending time with his family, the outdoors, and especially hunting and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Jean Anders Trimble, his parents, William Graves Trimble and Myrtle Mae Hemple Trimble; sisters, Jo Cook and Dorothy McClellen. Luther is survived by his children
Bill (Vonda)Trimble, Jim Trimble, Joe (Cheryl) King and Cindy Williams; 17 grandchildren and their spouses; 16 great-grandchildren; and sister, Mollie Walker.
