Mackenzie Ann Wilson the cherished baby girl of Charlie and Christy Wilson passed away January 11, 2011 in a local hospital after a sudden illness. She was born October 5, 2010 in Nassau Bay, Texas. In addition to her parents Mackenzie is survived by her paternal grandparents Kevin and Kimberly Wilson and Lydia and Mike Firestone; maternal grandparents, Ken and Joyce Morrison; many aunts, uncles, cousins and many other relatives and friends as well as her Coast Guard family. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Mackenzie will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 15, 2011 at the Clear Creek Community Church, 999 Egret Bay Blvd., League City, Texas 77573. Rev. Greg Poore will officiate. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Mackenzie’s name to the Coast Guard Foundation Fallen Hero’s Scholarship Fund (contact the Coast Guard Scholarship Program Manager at [email protected] or 202-475-5159 for additional information) or the charity of your choice.
