She was born on March 22, 1957 in Pasadena to Max and Juanita (Ortiz) Juarez, Jr. Margaret married Fred Young, Jr. and they were together for many years before his passing. She worked in the Petroleum Refinery Industry as a Lab Technician for Crown Refinery, Pasadena Refinery, and Petrobras Refinery for over 30 years before retirement.
Margaret was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She has a generous spirit and great faith. She had a passion for the Arts, cheering on the Houston Astros, and her beloved dog Genji and her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Fred Young, Jr., and her nephew-in-law Stephen Burkland.
She is survived by two brothers Steve Juarez and Albert (Tina) Juarez, one sister Tricia (Larry Hawkins) Powell, nieces Charity Burkland and Kelsey (Tony) Shelly, great nephews Jack Burkland, Nate Burkland, and Sawyer Burkland and one great niece Baker Rae Shelly.

A visitation for Margaret will be held Saturday, August 13, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM with a funeral service beginning at 2:00 PM. A committal service will follow in Forest Park East Cemetery.
