Mary B. Dunbar

Mary Belle Hobbs Dunbar passed away March 17, 2016, with her last days being surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 10,1931 to Johnnie Alvin Hobbs and Jewell Harrison Hobbs. She married Doyle Alton Dunbar on March 1, 1950. Mary and Doyle had four children: Cecelia Anne, Doyle Alton Junior, Bruce Alan and Nikki Ellen.

She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Doyle Dunbar; son, Doyle Alton Dunbar Jr.; sisters, Juanita Lee and Mildred Lea; brother, Johnnie Hobbs; and grandson, Jason Matthew Ellison.

Mary is survived by 3 of her children and spouses: Cecelia Dunbar Timberlake and spouse Ray, Bruce Alan Dunbar and spouse Eileen, Nikki Ellen Dunbar Ellison and spouse Gary; 11 grandchildren: Heather Ford, Kristin Rodriguez, Jenny Rindenow, Allison Wilcoxson, Shannon Oliver, Bruce Dunbar Junior, Gary Ellison Junior, Greg Ellison, Jason Ellison, Chase Ellison and Brett Ellison; 21 great-grandchildren; beloved sister, Bea Weaver and husband James; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Mary was known by her many talents such as painting, arts and crafts, sewing, and cooking; in fact her children and grandchildren felt that she could do anything! She was especially known for her ability to love and care for others. She was the ultimate caretaker. She will be welcomed by many loved ones into the Heavenly Kingdom!

A graveside service will be held Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Ridgeway Cemetery; 153 Ridgeway Cemetery Rd. Paige, Texas 78659. The family would like to invite everyone for lunch in the Church Hall after the graveside service.

Pallbearers will be Bruce Dunbar, Sr., Gary Ellison, Sr., Ray Timberlake, Bruce Dunbar, Jr., Chase Ellison, Brett Ellison, Greg Ellison, Damien Rodriguez, Kevin Rindenow, Matthew Wilcoxson and Branson Ellison.
