She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 42 years, Henry Vernon Huber and her parents L.P. and Ethel M. Acklen. She is survived by her daughters Amy Huber and Diane Swain and husband Craig; granddaughters Amanda Swain, Carolyn LaGrange and husband Mike, and Leanna Swain.
Mary grew up in Texas City, Texas and graduated from Baylor University in 1956. She dedicated her life to being a remarkable wife, mother, friend and gramma. Mary also worked with an international book ministry for over 40 years.
The family will receive friends on Monday, June 20, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, TX 77598. Funeral Services will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Forest Park East Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Forest Park East Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Paralyzed Veterans of America or the Wounded Warriors Project.
