Mary is survived by her children: Brenda DiCristina of Atlanta, GA., Richard Booth (Andrea) of Friendswood, TX and Deena Heidemann (Mike) of League City, TX. In 1980, Mary's life changed when she married Jim Vaughan with whom she shared 29 years. They enjoyed a wonderful partnership and relished their large, blended family. After the loss of her beloved husband, Mary lived alone for seven years before moving at 86 to Regal Estates Assisted Living. There, she came out of her shell and developed deep friendships that she treasured through her twilight. Mary also became a member of the League City Church of Christ where four generations sat together every Sunday and enjoyed cherished meals together afterwards.
Mary was regarded as extraordinarily sweet, caring, funny, quick-witted, and always well put together. Her friends and family will deeply miss someone so truly gorgeous.
