Melania Rivera was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico to her doting parents, Crispulo Albert and Agripina Colon. She is predeceased by her brother Dimas Albert and sister Guillermina Spector. She is now resting and rejoicing with her loved ones.
She loved eating, planting, friends, taking care of her family and being a grandmother. She was known as “Grandma” or “Guella”.
She is survived by her brother Lutgardo Albert; two children Alfredo H. Rivera and Sonia Rosado, and six grandchildren: Michelle Rivera, Melania F. Hull, Christopher J. Rosado, Richard Rosado, Dimas A. Rivera, and Alyssa Rivera; three great grandchildren: Alexis V. Otero, Gregory P. Stimphil, and Carter Cruz Rosado; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Melania will be held Wednesday, October 21, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Forest Park East Funeral Home in Webster, Texas with a funeral service to follow. Interment will be at Forest Park East Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in her name.
Serving as pallbearers are Richard Rosado, Christopher Rosado, Alfredo Rivera, Kenneth LeCompte, Dimas Rivera and Marcus Hull.
