

Beloved father, grandfather and fiancée, Michael Arlen Trumble, went to meet the Lord on August 3, 2016. Mike was born December 23, 1939 in Carmi, Illinois. He met his wife of 48 years, Patty Jean in Rockwood, TN. They were married January 21, 1960 and moved to Texas in February. Mike was a resident of Pasadena for 55 years. He is preceded in death by his wife, Patty Jean Trumble, and parents, Rose and Morris Trumble.
Mike had a long career with Brown & Root, from which he retired. Mike and Patty also opened their own business, Trumble Auto Sales. Son, Mike also joined the business at a young age. Together they ran the business for 46 years. Mike, always the entrepreneur, had many businesses in his lifetime: Crenshaw Boat & RV Storage and Pasadena Recon to name a few.
On the rare occasions he was not working, Mike enjoyed drag racing. He began racing in his 20's. He was a national event winner, Division 4 All Star Representative and a NHRA record holder. His son, Mike, began racing as well at the age of 15. Two of his grandchildren, Hayden and Rylie have continued the family tradition. He was also a 52nd degree Mason.
Mike loved his family more than anything and will be deeply missed by his children, Deborah Lynn, Michael Dwayne and wife Angela Trumble, Fiancée Pam Cherrington, and his 3 grandchildren: Hunter Burton, Hayden Trumble, and Rylie Trumble.
The family will receive friends August 10, 2016 at 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas. Funeral Services will be in the Chapel of Forest Park East Funeral Home, August 11,2016 at 10:00 am
