Neva Partridge

Neva Claire Lamkin Partridge, 82, of Houston, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, December 01, 2015. She was born in Center, Texas on April 12, 1933 to Lucille Sanford Lamkin and Wilbur Cade Lamkin. Neva received her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from Stephen F. Austin University. Neva taught at Lufkin High School from 1957-1983 and then Dickinson High School from 1983-1991. She was a member of League City United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lucille and Wilbur Lamkin. Neva is survived by her daughter, Janece Partridge Blanche and husband Mark of Houston, Texas; daughter, Jayme Partridge of Bellaire, Texas; daughter, Traci Partridge Langford and husband Read of Houston, Texas; grandchildren Alexandra, Carter, Kyle, and Cody; sister, Marcia Eberenz and husband Willie of Center, Texas; brother, Rayford Lamkin and wife Anne of Center, Texas; and sister, Glenda Brown and husband Alfred of Houston, Texas. Pallbearers will be Mark Blanche, Read Langford, Alfred Brown, Willie Eberenz, Rayford Lamkin, Kyle Funderburk, Cody Langford, and Carter Blanche. A visitation will be held Saturday, December 05, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. League City United Methodist Church with funeral service to begin at 11:00 a.m. Neva will be laid to rest at Garden of Memories Memorial Park in Lufkin, Texas.
