

Born in Cameron Texas and moved to League City Texas around the 1940’s. Graduated from Clear Creek High School. Went to U of H on a football scholarship. After two years he had to quit to support his family. Newton went into the military and was stationed in Frankfurt Germany. He met and married his wife of 48 years. He went in to business with his brothers and father and founded concrete service company in League City. He went on to start his own concrete contracting business until 1998, then worked for pace concrete in Houston until he retired at age 75.
Newton liked watching and going to the Dallas Cowboys games, reading, and watching westerns, grilling, and spending time with family.
He was preceded in death by wife Loraine Tindall, brothers, Byron Tindall and Denson Tindall.
He will be deeply missed by daughters- Patricia A. Carter and husband Tye Carter, Suzanne K. Stafford; grandchildren- Cory and Abby Stafford, Mandy Knight and Husband Eric Knight, John T. Davis Jr.; great grandchildren- Shane Davis, Gage Davis and Cooper Davis, Gunnan Knight, Hanna Knight and Cloey Knight.
