Nohemi Roxanne Martinez and Ruben Mendoza III

Nohemi was a loving wife, mother, daughter and sister, and will be missed by everyone that knew her. She had a deep devotion to her children that she loved very much.

Nohemi is survived by her children, Lillie Martinez, Alexis Mendoza, Ruben Xavier Mendoza and Kayle Mendoza; parents, Estevan Martinez and Mary Alice Palacios; brothers and sisters, Jason Palacios, Steven Palacios, Lydia Palacios, Leandra Hernandez and Marie Palacios; grandparents, aunts, uncles, numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family members and friends.

Ruben Mendoza III, 25, went to be with the Lord on August 7, 2010. He was born in Houston, Texas on September 28, 1984, to Ruben Mendoza and Carmen Galindo.

Ruben was a loving husband, father, son and brother that will be missed by his family. He was a very devoted and loving family man to his children. He loved being involved in sports when he was younger and playing football and baseball. He raised pit bulls as a hobby.

Ruben is survived by his children, Alexis Mendoza, Ruben Xavier Mendoza and Kayle Mendoza; mother, Carmen Gonzales and step-father Gilbert; father, Ruben Mendoza, Jr.; brothers and sisters, Vanessa Estrada, Desirae Gonzales, Steve Earl Gonzales, Mason Earl Gonzales, Destiny Gonzales and Eddie Ramos; grandparents, aunts, uncles, numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family members and friends.

Visitation will begin on Friday, August 13, 2010, at 4:00 p.m. to 9 p.m., at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas, with a Vigil Service and Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. that evening. A Funeral Service will be conducted at Forest Park East Chapel on Saturday, August 14, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery.
