

She was a graduate of Sam Houston High School and a member of the high school black battalion drill team and swim team. She became the Owner of Perry Scale Co. Inc., after the death of her husband in 1975 and was a successful businesswoman in an industry that is considered a man’s world. She was an avid cat lover, had a passion for her daily crossword puzzles and mystery novels and had the most contagious laugh that will be greatly missed by everyone that meet her.
Her husband, Marvin; son, Billy Jack; and brother Ray Talbot precede her in death
She is survived by her son, Ronnie and wife Marilyn; daughter, Linda Perry Richter; brother, David Talbot and Sister Ellen McNamara and husband Jimmy. Grandsons Calvin Perry Richter; Cody James Perry and Robert A. Perry; Granddaughter, Alicia Freeman and husband John. Great Grandchildren, Grayson, Loren & Brooklyn Mae Freeman and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held, Wednesday, October 9, from 6 to 8pm at Forest Park East Funeral Home in Webster. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, October 10, 2013 at Forest Park East Funeral Home with Rev. Tony Vinson officiating.
