Patricia Kelley

Born in Falkirk, Scotland, on March 4, 1955, Pat was the beloved daughter of David and Janet Meaney. She brought kindness, creativity, and quiet strength to everyone who knew her.

Pat found love and happiness with her husband, Lamar Kelley, with whom she shared 20 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they built a life filled with laughter, love, and shared passions. One of Pat’s greatest joys in life was simply being with her children. Whether sharing stories, laughter, or quiet moments together, she treasured their bond deeply and was endlessly proud of the people they became.

Above all, Pat loved nothing more than becoming a grandmother to her precious granddaughter, Sophia.

Pat had a deep love for crafting. She found joy and comfort in cross-stitching and in hand-making cards — each one carefully created and sent with love to friends and family. Her attention to detail and personal touch made every card a cherished gift.

A passionate animal lover, Pat devoted much of her heart to caring for her three beloved pets. She gave them a wonderful life full of love and comfort, and they were a constant source of joy and companionship to her.

Pat will be remembered for her gentle heart, her unwavering love for family, and the quiet, thoughtful ways she showed she cared. Her legacy of kindness, creativity, and love lives on in the many lives she touched.

Pat is survived by her husband, Lamar; their dogs, Haggis and Neeps; their cat, Taters; son, Anthony (Lindsay Connolly-Balsiger) Balsiger; daughter, Ashley (Shane) Carter; granddaughter, Sophia Carter; brother, John (Inna Mclelland) Meaney; and niece and nephew, Caitlyn and Christian.

She was preceded in death by her father, David and mother, Janet.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider making a donation to a cancer research organization of your choice, in Pat’s memory.

Visitation will be held at Forest Park East Funeral Home, located at 21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX, 77598, on August 28, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.

The memorial service will take place at the same venue on August 28, 2025, starting at 2pm.
