With profound love and gratitude, the family of Patricia Ann Toliver Myles announces her peaceful transition on October 27, 2025, just two days before her 78th birthday. Born on October 29, 1947, Patricia, affectionately known as Pat, lived a life defined by quiet strength, steadfast faith, and an unshakable devotion to family.
A lifelong believer, Pat was a devoted member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. A woman of grace and resilience, Pat was a quiet force, steady in spirit and strong in purpose. She met every season of life with courage and dignity, teaching those around her that true strength is often silent, unyielding, unseen, and unbroken. Her love was her legacy, her faith her foundation, and her perseverance her enduring gift to all who follow.
She is lovingly remembered by her daughter Sherrie James, and sons Leroy James and Freddrick James; her cherished grandchildren Crystal, Brandon, Deannisha, Unique, Royal, Destiny, Isaiah, Elyssa, Desiree, and Shamara; and her great-grandchildren Caleb, Cristin, Rajah, DeWayne, Eljai, Sanaa, Dezin, and S'Bellah, who will forever carry her warmth in their hearts. She is also survived by her sister Lillan James and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents Leroy and Ruth Toliver, her grandparents Charlie and Lillian Toliver and Rufus and Maudella Wilson, and her beloved son LJ James Jr., whose memory she held close until her final days.
Though her earthly journey has ended, Pat's spirit lives on in the faith she modeled, the love she shared, and the lives she quietly transformed.
Private services will be held to honor her life and legacy.
