Patricia Ann Runfola

She was born in Galveston, TX on July 29th, 1942, to James “Jimmy” Bliss and Elsie Evlyn Bliss.

Patricia was married to Gabriel “Gabe” Runfola for 59 years, together having 3 boys, Joseph, Michael, and Charles Runfola.

Her first job was at Woolworth downtown Galveston managing record sales, inventory, and the Candy & Chocolate Bar; later being promoted to managing the stores accounts payable and receivable.

Miss Pat’s most rewarding role was taking care of children; she nurtured for over 30 years. Miss Pat had a passion and green thumb for her garden which she shared with all the children.

She loved building arts and crafts, sewing, music, " Elvis Gospel, Charlie Pride, Patsy Cline, CCR, John Fogerty, Willie Nelson, Tom Jones, Johnny Cash, mostly country and golden oldies like Chubby Checker. She loved to dance and sing when she was cooking and working around the house.

Patricia was preceded in death by her Husband Gabe, parents Jimmy & Elsie, eldest brother Sonny, and her cherished granddaughter Chelsea Renee Runfola.

She is survived by her 3 sons, Joseph, Michael, and Charles Runfola; her brothers, David, Richard, and Leonard Bliss; her grandsons Gabriel and Joseph Runfola, and her dearest niece Yolanda Bliss.
