

Patsy Ruth Joiner was born in Robstown, Texas on October 10, 1930 and passed away in Baytown, Texas on August 3, 2012. She was a devoted Christian and follower of Christ. She was raised in the Church of Christ church and remained a member to the end. She went to Cal-allen High School in Corpus Christi, Texas, and was voted President of her music class. She was also voted Most Beautiful. Patsy married Wilbur Eugene Joiner on March 26, 1948. They lived most of their married life in Pasadena, Texas.
She was the beloved mother of son, Michael Joiner and his wife Sherri Joiner, Grand daughhter, Alicia Lightsey and her husband Jeff Lightsey, Great Grandsons Andrew and Landon and great granddaughter Karson Lightsey. Granddaughter Sabrina Shipwash and husband Matt Shipwash, great grandsons Kaden, Mason and Madden Shipwash. Granddaughter Amanda Scott and husband Andre Scott, great grandson Trevor and great granddaughter Jayde Scott. Beloved mother of, Melody Frank, granddaughter Nicole Kutschenreuter and husband Dale Kutschenreuter and great grandsons Zackary Blanchard, James, John and Clay Kutschenreuter.
Patsy loved to work in her yard and it certainly showed it. She had some of the most beautiful flowers. Her favorite was the Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow flower. She just loved all of nature went on many camping trips to the Black Hills of North Dakota and often to Arkansas. She loved country western music and made many trips to Branson and the Grand Ole Opry. She had a pair of old red cowboy boots that she wore all the time. We think she would have worn them to bed if she could have. She loved to dance and would tap her feet to all kinds of music.
Visitation will be Tuesday August 7, 2012, from 6:00pm-7:00pm. Then the service will be starting at 7:00pm at Forest Park East Funeral Home and Cemetery 21620 Gulf Freeway Webster, Texas 77598.
