She is survived by her son Bill Gates, daughter Mary Fincher, and son Stephen Gates (Lisa), grandchildren Courtney Wood (Kevin), Jillian Moore (Billy), Rachel Cain, Lee Fincher (Liz), Robin Williams (Phillips), Jasmine Dudich (Steven), Jason Wessner, Megan Bridges (Jason), Catherine Ferrante (Joseph), Rachel Blasengame (Scott), and Lauren Gates, 27 great-grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, her sister, Mary Henley, and niece, Jackie Norton.
Patsy was preceded in death by her parents, George Clayton Young and Eula Thelma Young; siblings, Jean Copeland and Bobby Toliver; and cherished son-in-law, Jay Fincher.
Patsy's life was centered around the people she loved most. An adoring mother, grandmother, and "Nana" to generations of family and friends whom she loved like family, her greatest joy was simply being together. Family was her heart, and the love, strength, and faith she shared will live on for generations. She will be deeply missed, but there is comfort in knowing she is at peace in her heavenly home, reunited with those she loved who went before her.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598, US, on August 14, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
