Paul served his country for over 20 years in the United States Coast Guard. From serving on isolated duty at a lighthouse in Point Barrow Alaska, to an Ice Breaker in Antarctica, to the crew that searched for the famous Edmond Fitzgerald in Lake Superior, he served with the utmost love and respect for this country. After serving he worked for Dickinson Independent School District and after over 20 years retired from there.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Betty J. Barron, daughter Deborah Burkett, son Allan Barron, granddaughters Toni Rosario, Cori Burkett-Merrifield, Kerry Burkett and Sarah Summer Lang, and great-grandson Ethan "Scooter" Rosario as well as a host of beloved family members.
A visitation for Paul will be held Friday, September 23, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598. A funeral service will occur Friday, September 23, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598. A committal service will occur Friday, September 23, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Forest Park East Cemetery, 21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598.
