Paul Clark

Paul Guy Clark Jr. of League City, Texas passed away on Sept. 14, 2026 at the age of 81. He was born on Oct. 4, 1944 in Fort Worth, Texas at Harris Memorial Methodist Hospital to Paul and Lucille Clark.

Paul attended several schools, but ultimately graduated from the University of Houston College of Pharmacy. He was proud to receive the University of Houston Health Systems Preceptor of the Year award several times throughout his career at both Park Plaza and Clear Lake Regional Hospitals. He was a very smart man who loved going to work every day, solving problems and helping the medical staff implement plans to administer medications to patients.

Paul met his wife Tana in 1975 in Nassau Bay, Texas. They married later that year in Clear Lake, and settled in League City where they raised their two sons.

Paul was known to his family as "Paul Guy" and had a deep love for his hometown of Hillsboro, Tx where he played football for the Hillsboro Eagles. He grew up surrounded by family, faith, and music. Paul always had a great time going back home for visits with his parents, sister, and family nearby. Holidays and family gatherings were very special to him, along with praying before a meal to give thanks. Paul was a quiet man but had a love for jokes, especially the corny ones. He was a kind man who never hesitated to compliment, encourage, and reaffirm others.

In his spare time he enjoyed cheering on his Houston sports teams, listening to music, going to the gym, and volunteering. Paul especially enjoyed Southern Bluegrass and Irish Folk music. He rarely missed a night at the gym and it wasn't just about exercising for Paul. He loved getting to socialize with his friends and community. Paul worked the Food Truck Program at church for many years helping to pass out food to Galveston County residents.

Paul is survived by his wife of 50 years Tana, and their two sons. Garrett Clark and his wife Ashley, and Andrew Clark. He was also blessed with a beautiful granddaughter Mallory. Sister Martha Pierpont and her husband Jerry. Nephew Brad Pierpont and his wife Alicia, and niece Angela Ficklin and her husband Andy, and their families. Surviving cousins are Donna Kay Lightfoot, Mary Lee Milton, Danny and Dale Baker, Tobin and Kevin Clark, and their families.

Visitation will be held at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598, US, on September 25, 2026, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am. The Funeral Service will follow at Forest Park East Funeral Home on September 25, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. A Committal Service will take place at Forest Park East Cemetery, 21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598, US, on September 25, 2026, from 11:00 am to 11:30 am.
