Paul Douglas Messick

Paul Douglas Messick, a cherished son, devoted father, beloved brother and friend, passed away on January 29,2026, in League City, Texas at the age of 65. Born on March 24, 1960, in Fort Worth, Texas. Paul lived a life characterized by adventure, hard work, love for his family, and an unwavering desire to embrace every moment to the fullest.

Paul was the son of Peter Messick and Janice Quinby, both of whom preceded him in death along with his sister, Catherine Roberts. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Messick; his son, Adam Messick; his sister, Laura McKenzie. Paul also leaves behind a multitude of family and friends whose lives he touched with his infectious spirit and adventurous soul.

A funeral service to honor Paul’s life will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Forest Park East Funeral Home, located at 21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX, 77598. A committal service will follow at the same location at 2:00 PM. A catered reception will be held from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM at Forest Park East Funeral Home. Family and friends are invited to gather to share their memories and celebrate the life of a man who brought so much joy and adventure to the lives of those around him.
