Paul "Bucky" Raymond Ruby

Paul was born in Greenville, Ohio and grew up in Cocoa, Florida. Paul later moved to Houston, Texas with his parents.

Paul was a welder, plumber, builder, and held a journeyman electrician license. Paul could drive a backhoe and most heavy equipment. Paul worked for the Port of Houston since 1999. Paul was a maintenance supervisor with the Bayport Terminal and loved his job.

Paul was a loving and caring man. Paul was a wonderful husband and incredible father to our daughter Victoria. Paul worked very hard and gave his family a wonderful life. Paul loved the beach, fishing, and gardening.

Paul will be deeply missed by his wife Dorothy Ruby, Victoria Ruby, Crystal Bautista and husband Robert Bautista and three grandchildren, and Brandon and Desiree Smith and two grandchildren.

Paul was preceded in death by his sister Jelenda, father Bert Ruby, mother Jean Ruby, and son Bibb.

Visitation will be held Sunday, December 13 from 3:00PM -6:00PM in the Chapel of Forest Park East Funeral Home located at 21620 Gulf Freeway Webster, Texas. The family requests that only the immediate family and pallbearers attend the Celebration of Paul’s life Monday, December 14 at 2:00PM at Forest Park East Funeral Home. All are welcome to attend the committal service immediately following at Forest Park East Cemetery.
