Phyllis Marlene Anderson was born 8-16-1936, in Knoxville, Tennessee to Robert and Evelyn Little. Her parents, husband Wallace Anderson, and brother Bobby Little, preceded her in death. Phyllis met Wallace Eugene Anderson in high school in Fort Worth, Texas. They married on 8-14-1954, had three children, Hal, Leslie, and Rick, and moved to Pasadena, Texas in 1962. Phyllis enjoyed playing tennis, volunteering with Junior Forum, working with pet adoption, and serving on committees for the Pasadena Livestock Show and Rodeo. After Wally passed away in 1999, Phyllis moved to Greenway Plaza to be closer to the Houston City Club, where she played tennis and enjoyed many social events. She was also a member of the Petroleum Club and several social dance clubs. She enjoyed all forms of music, especially jazz and classical. Dixie, her beloved Burmese Mountain Dog, went everywhere with her, including annual vacations for Dixie to enjoy the fall color change.
She is survived by: her 3 children, son Hal and his wife Lynne Anderson, daughter Leslie and her husband Byron Boykin Jr., son Rick and his wife Caitlin Anderson, 8 grandchildren, and is expecting her 13th great grandchild.
Phyllis passed away after a long battle with Alzheimer’s.

A visitation for Phyllis will be held Tuesday, January 28, 2020 from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas 77598. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at 2:30 pm at Forest Park East Cemetery.
