Raymond was a graduate of Jeff Davis High School in Houston. He served in the US Army in the Korean War. He was employed by Shell Chemical Company for thirty-five years. He was a very patriotic person and always flew the American and Texas flags in his front yard. His favorite pastimes were gardening, running, and swimming. He always maintained himself in top physical condition. He was a member of the Church of Christ Deer Park. He liked country music. He was a “diehard Texan” but enjoyed his vacations to Hawaii.
He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Cora Mahan Mysinger; brothers, Joe Thompson, Randolph Wilson, Alfred Mysinger; sister, Gerine Mysinger Adams, and granddaughter, Molly Rachel Hammac.
Raymond is survived by his wife, Janet Hall Mysinger; his children, Patricia Mysinger Roy (John), Trudy Mysinger Hammac (Tracy), Christine Hall McClaskey, Katrina Hall Free (Gary), and Mark Mysinger (Margaret). His grandchildren, Aaron Roy, Samantha Mysinger, Stefani Mysinger Baxter, Courtney McClaskey Lindsey, Erik McClaskey and Heather Free and six great-grandchildren.
A visitation for Raymond will be held Friday, July 23, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will occur Saturday, July 24, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM and a committal service will follow. All services will be held at Forest Park East Funeral Home and Cemetery, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas 77598.
