She is survived by husband, Dale Dunn of League City, TX; son Jason Dunn of Del Valle, TX; daughter-in-law Elinor Denney of Del Valle, TX; daughter Sarah Johnson-Crays of Joplin, MO; son-in-law Zach Crays of Joplin, MO; grandson Jackson Dunn of Del Valle, TX; sister Judy McKinney of Severn, MD; brother-in-law Clyde McKinney of Severn, MD; sister Mary Lou Carter of Glen Burnie, MD; brother-in-law Frank Dunn (Jose Funes) of Silver Spring, MD; sister-in-law Erica Manahan of Hedgesville, WV; nieces Rebecca Sharpe (James) of Ledyard, CT and Jessica Elliot of Plainville, CT; nephew Cody Kellhofer (Allie) of Windsor, CT; 3 great-nieces, 2 great-nephews and 1 great-great-nephew.
Rebecca was a happy housewife. She found fulfillment in loving and supporting her husband and family. She had a warm and welcoming smile for every person she met. Rebecca was a member of Bay Area Christian Church, Webster, TX, and a life-long member of the Christian Church. She had a passion for making children feel special and loved. She enjoyed teaching children’s Sunday School, volunteered in the Kid’s Hope program at a local elementary school, and supported the Embrace Foster Care ministry at her church. Rebecca just loved people, and saw every new person she met as a friend. She was a blessing to all who were privileged to know her. She will be greatly missed.
