Rev. Donald Irwin

Paul Donald Irwin, 91 years of age passed away January 29th, 2013 in Houston, Texas. Don was born November 7, 1921 in Maymont, Pennsylvania to Paul and Kathryn Irwin. Don was married to his lifelong sweetheart Lillian for 66 years. He was a graduate of Asbury College and Seminary in Kentucky. He started pasturing as a junior in college and continued preaching into his 80’s. He always had a pastor’s heart even when he became a District Superintendant in the Church of the Nazarene and College President of Eastern Nazarene University in Quincy, Massachusetts. His list of achievements could not be listed because of space constraints nor would he want them listed. He is survived by his son and daughter in law Don and Kay Irwin, his niece Melinda Imler, granddaughter Melissa Witte-Hunt and Grandsons Lee, Luke and Lance Irwin, He was predeceased by his wife Lillian December 30, 2012, and his daughter Linda Sue Jones April 4, 1995.
