Richard Gingrich, 90, of Webster, TX, passed away December 6, 2021. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on November 23, 1931 to Earl and Hazel Gingrich. Richard married and spent 54 years with his wife Olga. He had a career as a Research Scientist in Insect Pathology for the USDA and the International Atomic Energy Agency. He was a member of the Houston Zoo as a docent, a past member of the Texas Archeological Society and a proud veteran of the United States Army. He had a passion for mountain hiking, antique clocks, fish farming, cycling and spending time with his kids and grandkids.
Richard was preceded in death by his wife Olga, son Michael, and parents Earl and Hazel Gingrich.
He is survived by his sons Daniel and wife Lisa, Eric and wife Colleen, Alex and daughter Christina. Grandchildren Christopher, Anna, Stacey, Kristi, Justin, Zachary, Nathan, Aaron, Alice, Jeremy, and Riley. Great Grandchildren Emmett, Parker, Indie, Calvin, Westin, and Hayes. Brothers Alan, Don and wife Patty. Nieces Lisa, Jenny and nephew Steve.
