

Richard Morgan Sanders passed away May 1, 2011 at the age of 73. He was born June 22, 1937 in Albuquerque, New Mexico and moved to Houston in 1955. He worked for Houston Belt and Terminal Railroad as a Signalman and was a Supervisor when he retired after 32 years there. Richard’s hobbies were fishing, hunting and golf.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie Morgan Sanders and Mineola Fisher Sanders and a brother, Jay Sanders. Survivors include his loving wife of 55 years, Colette Sanders; son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Linda Sanders; two daughters and a son-in-law, Debbie Sanders Susik and Sue Fisher and husband Bill Fisher; two grandsons, Chris Sanders and Billy and his wife, Crystal Fisher; one granddaughter, Michele Sanders; one great granddaughter, Terra Fisher; one brother, Johnny and wife, Jennie Sanders; one sister, Charlene Caughey, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Memorial Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday May 14, 2011 at Forest Park East Cemetery, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas 77598. Chaplain Craig Hackney will officiate. Online condolences may be offered at www.ForestParkEast-FHC.com.
