Robert Eugene Hardest Jr. also known as Bobby, was born in Houston, Texas on July 29, 1946. Bobby was 74 years old before going to be with the Lord. He was a long-time resident of Bacliff, Texas. He was the oldest of three brothers and he took that role seriously as he was their protector. He graduated from Pasadena High School and obtained his Masters Degree from Stephen F. Austin State University in Science. Bobby began teaching shortly after graduation in local school districts and he also worked in the state prison system. Bobby had a love for computers and riding bikes for exercise and pleasure. He was an avid animal lover with a sweet spot for dogs.
Bobby is survived by his beloved companion and fur daughter Jade, mother Hazel Ford Hardesty, aunt Alice Joy Archer, brother William Albert Hardesty Sr. and spouse Shirley Hardesty; nephews William Albert Hardesty Jr. and Thomas Eugene Hardesty Sr.; nieces Dorothy Aileen Price, Jaimee Rhea Kitchens and Amanda Kay Frank, as well as several great nephews and nieces. He is proceeded in death by his father Robert Eugene Hardesty Sr.; his brother Lawrence David Hardesty, and his beloved fur children Colby and Ceasar.
