He was born to parents Carlos T. Jass and Victoria S. Jass in Houston, TX on November 6, 1955. Robert grew to be a loving brother to Carlos S. Jass Jr., Mary Lou Jass, Juan F. Jass, and Joe V. Jass. A loving husband of almost 24 years to Harvette S. Jass married on July 2, 1988. An amazing father to his only daughter Ashley N. Jass and a wonderful grandfather to his only granddaughter Alina A. Flores.
He attended Edison Middle School and Milby High School. He was a bus operator for Houston Metro for 15 years followed by & 7 years at Home Depot. He enjoyed barbequing, bowling, playing horseshoes, listening to Tejano music and his Dallas Cowboys.
Robert was always one to make everyone smile with all the jokes he made about any and everything. Given the sicknesses he faced, he was always in high spirits making fun of himself from time to time.
Services will be held Thursday evening from 6pm-9pm Rosary at 7pm & the burial at 10am at Forest Park East 21620 Gulf Fwy Webster, TX 77598 (281) 332-3111
Reception will be held at Joe V. Jass’s house following services on Friday if anyone wants to bring food contact Joe (832)-837-7522 or Esma at (832) 837-7526 to drop it off.
