Roberta L. Green passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 28, 2016, in Smithville, Texas. Roberta, lovingly known as Robbie, was born in Rio Hondo, Texas on June 20, 1931 to John Raymond Jones and Mabel Dick Jones.
After college, she married Robert Hanna Green in June, 1955 and moved to Houston where she taught school for over thirty years.
Robbie is survived by her son John, his wife Tiffany; grandson Cody; great-grandson Sane, and nephew Jim.
Funeral services will be held at Forest Park East Funeral Home in Webster, Texas on Monday, August 1, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. Interment to follow in Forest Park East Cemetery.
