

Rosalie “Muzzy” Helen Wald Offenhauser, was born in Houston, Texas on August 24, 1926. She attended Lamar Sr. High School and attended the University of Houston for LVN Nursing. She passed peacefully on Friday, January 27th, surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her husband, George W. Offenhauser, Sr. of 73 years, 4 children, Rosalie and husband Dr. Vance Murphy, Steven A. Offenhauser and his wife, Colleen, George “Pete” W. Offenhauser, Jr. and Lynette C. Offenhauser and Button, Muzzy’s faithful dog. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Dr. Trenton and wife Trisha Murphy, Clayton and wife Iliana Murphy, Jason and wife Dr. Darlene Murphy, Sheri Offenhauser, and Rachel Offenhauser. There are 7 Great Grand Children: Manon, Benjamin, Garrett, Layla, Victoria, Kaden and Daxton. In addition to numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Frieda Wald and brother, Ernst Albert Wald.
Rosalie resided in Friendswood for 52 years, was a founding member of Mary Queen Catholic Church, involved in the Friendswood PTA/PTO, was a member of the Friendswood Garden Club and loved working in her yard tending to her Azaleas and Orchids. She loved, riding her horse, Dolly, water and snow skiing, traveling and was an excellent seamstress.
Pallbearers will be: Steven Offenhauser, Pete Offenhauser, Dr. Vance Murphy, Dr. Trenton Murphy, Clayton Murphy, and Jason Murphy.
Visitation and Rosary will be Monday, 6-8 PM, January 30th @ Mary Queen Catholic Church, 606 Cedarwood Drive, Friendswood, Texas. Funeral Mass will be at 10 AM, Tuesday, January 31st. at Mary Queen Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster, Texas. Reception to follow at Mary Queen Catholic Church.
