Rose Peterson

Rose married Fred Peterson on September 4, 1936 and began her lifetime pursuit as a housewife and mother. She enjoyed her church and her family. She was very active in the Woman’s Missionary Union and Sunday School and especially enjoyed

the children of the church.

Rose is survived by her four children: Jeanette Appleton, Fred Jr., David & Wayne Peterson; brother Hans, Hugo; 7 grandchildren: Bob and Joan Appleton, Kaylen Janecek, Kristen Albrecht, Richard, Allen and Derek Peterson; 9 great

grandchildren: Kelsey and Caleb Appleton, Caroline and Amanda Janecek, Austin Albrecht, Nick and Nathan Peterson, Olivia Peterson, and Zac Peterson along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Rose is preceded in death by spouse Fred and sisters Gertrude, Louise and Mathilda.

Visitation will be held Monday, from 6:00-8:00 pm, July 1, 2013 at Forest Park East Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, July 2, 2013, Manuel Longoria of First Baptist Church of South Houston will be officiating. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery.
