

The funeral service will be held at St. Thomas the Apostle Episcopal Church in Nassau Bay on Friday, September 29, 2023, at 2pm. Father Michael Stone of St. Thomas the Apostle Episcopal Church will be officiating. The burial will be at 3:30 at Forest Park East. After the burial, all family, friends, and acquaintances are welcome to join the family at a reception at the home of Alexandra Anderson and Kurt Lazarus at 2513 Northern Drive, League City, TX. No RSVP is required.
Rosemary was born on September 30, 1933. She graduated Methodist Hospital School of Nursing, Dallas Texas in 1955. She then joined the AirForce as an officer where she met the love of her life, David Roger Anderson. They were married February 1st, 1958, for 58 years until his death in December 2016. They lived their lives travelling and living in various states including Texas where they spent over 50 years. After David’s death, Rosemary relocated to Charlotte, North Carolina to be closer to her youngest son, Paul and daughter in law, Terry Anderson. She resided at the Carriage Club apartments where she made many, many friends.
Rosemary is survived by her three sons, David, Steven, and Paul: five grandchildren. Audrey Johnson (Ryan), Alexandra (Kurt), Eric, Emily, David III; and two great-grandchildren, Everly and Riley. She has many other family and friends.
Rosemary is preceded in death by her beloved husband, David, mother Cammie and father Ernest Grundy.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Kidney Foundation. The family of Rosemary wishes to thank the team at Atrium Hospital, Pineville, Palmetto Tower for taking such great care of her in her last days.
