Roxie Ann Roberts, 65, of Houston, Texas, passed away on March 23, 2016. She was born in Orange, Texas on January 2, 1951 to Mr. and Mrs. O.B. Roberts. Roxie had a career at MD Anderson Cancer Center.
She was preceded in death by her father, O.B. Roberts; and mother, Willie Mae Roberts.
Roxie is survived by her son, Gabriel Louis Allen; four sisters Minister Maxcine Washington, Fayetta Payne, Vickie Lazenby (Dainel) and Mona Forward; brother, Otis Bernard Roberts; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 from 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at Forest Park East Funeral Home. Roxie’s Celebration of Life will begin at 12:30 p.m. with interment to immediately follow at Forest Park East Cemetery. A reception will follow the interment in the Hospitality Room of Forest Park East Funeral Home.
