Ruben Mancha, Jr.

Ruben Mancha, Jr. passed away on Saturday June 27, 2015 surrounded by his loved ones. Ruben was born on April 12, 1949 in Eagle Pass, Texas to Ruben Mancha Sr. and Julia G. Mancha. Ruben was a member of the League City Lions Club from 1992-2005. He was presented with the Melvin Jones Fellow award for his dedicated humanitarian services to the Lions Club International Foundation. He was an active member of the American Legion Post #554 in League City. He also volunteered for the Galveston County Democratic Party. Ruben is survived by his wife, Norma Ramirez and his daughter, Celeste Mancha. He is also survived by his brothers Jorge Mancha, Fernando Mancha, Ricardo Mancha and a sister Margarita Cast. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Rolando Mancha, his nephew Roland Mancha, in laws Alicia and Celestino Ramirez and several aunts and cousins. The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 from 5pm to 8pm at Forest Park East Funeral Home in Webster, Texas. A memorial service will be held on July 1, 2015 at 10am, in the chapel of Forest Park East Funeral Home with graveside services to follow immediately after in Forest Park East Cemetery.
