For decades, Craig poured his time and talents into Automotive Restoration, building a career marked by craftsmanship, precision, and pride in doing things the right way. An ASE Certified Technician awarded World Class Recognition, he earned the respect of his peers and the admiration of those who saw his work up close. His induction into the Automotive Hall of Fame stands as a lasting reflection of a life devoted to skill, excellence, and the enduring beauty of well-made machines.
Craig’s joy extended well beyond the garage. He delighted in hot rods and racing, and he also made room for the quiet strategy of chess and the easyhearted fun of frisbee—interests that spoke to a mind that loved challenge and a spirit that never lost its taste for play. Above all, he shared 32 years of marriage with Stephanie, a long partnership grounded in love, loyalty, and shared life.
He was preceded in death by his father, Samuel Rufus Boulton, and his grandmother, Kittie Mae Boulton.
Craig is survived by his wife, Stephanie Marie Boulton; his son, Samuel Keith Boulton (Leonora), and his daughter, Kristi Morgan D’Amato (Nicholas); his grandchildren, Samuel Bruce Boulton (14), Audrey Lenore Boulton (10), Bennett Peter Boulton (8), Theodore Ascher D’Amato (2), and Edith Rose D’Amato (4mo); his mother, Barbara Jean Boulton; and his siblings, Ronald Edward Boulton (Michelle) and Vikki Lynn Boulton, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A graveside service will be held at Forest Park East Cemetery, located at 21620 Gulf Freeway in Webster, Texas, on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at 10:30 am.
