Sarah Kahuakaikalika, 82, of Houston, Texas, passed away on Saturday, December 05, 2015. She was born in Honolulu O’ahu, Hawaii on March 19, 1933 to Joseph and Cecelia Kaliiheleua. She was married to Clayton Cleveland Thomas for 64 years. Sarah K. Thomas had a career as a home maker and had a passion for sewing, crocheting, fishing, bowling, and playing bingo. She was preceded in death by her mother, Cecilia; father, Joseph; sisters Lucy and Abbie; and son Clayton K. Thomas. She is survived by her husband, Clayton C. Thomas; children Shirley, Sarah, Jasper, Carline, and Clevern; 29 grandchildren; and 58 great-grandchildren. The family will accept visitors on Friday, December 11, 2015 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Forest Park East Funeral Home. The Celebration of Sarah’s Life will be Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Forest Park East Funeral Home with interment to immediately follow at Forest Park East Cemetery.
