Scott Duane Lewis, 50, of League City, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on July 22, 2021, after a courageous battle with his chronic illness. At the time of his passing, Scott was surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor his legacy by living their lives to the fullest. His battle with serious medical issues over the years showed his courage in facing life challenges with a smile. Despite the pain, Scott came out a hero and stayed strong until the end.
He was born in Titusville, Florida, on May 27, 1971, adopted by his parents, Ronald and Shirley Lewis. Scott Lewis was a dedicated, hardworking man for Mrs. Baird’s Bakery, and Borden Dairy company.
He was preceded in death by his loving brother, Ricky Lee Lewis. He is survived by his children and their families; Daughters Meghan Ann Lewis, Macie Ann Lewis, Katie Lewis; and children, Ryleigh Bradley, Tristan, Mason, and Kamryn Lopez; Allie Lewis; and children, Ashton Lewis, and August and Gunner Gann; His two brothers Perry Jon Lewis, Robert James Lewis, and sister Dawn Kelly Rose.
For many years, Scott fought a heartless disease. And yet, despite his struggles, he managed his illness graciously with strength, and lived courageously with it until the end. In many, many ways, by inspiring and teaching us, he won his battle in other very important ways. He was a wonderful role model right to the end.
A celebration of Scott’s life will be held on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at 6:00PM, at Forest Park East Funeral Home & Cemetery, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas 77598.
