Sharon Maria Velez, age 54, passed away May 13, 2025 after a long battle with cancer. Sharon, born in Ridgewood NJ was predeceased by her parents Dr Julio Velez and Jeannette Velez. She was the beloved sister to her siblings Debra Morgan, Theresa Velez, Christina Uebelhoer (Velez) and Regina Velez. Her significant other, Mike Basile, was a great supporter of Sharon, who took wonderful care of her. Sharon was also beloved by her nieces and nephews, whom she had been a big part of their lives. Sharon was an avid animal lover, especially horses and dogs. She was also an accomplished horseback rider. Sharon will be dearly missed by everyone who had the privilege to know her.
