Steve Snyder, born on January 15, 1959, in Houston, Texas, passed away on May 11, 2024, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was the beloved son of Don Snyder (died 1989) and Lori Snyder (died 2010). Steve graduated from Stratford High School in 1977, where he was a star player on the football team. He continued his education at the University of Texas.
Steve had a long and successful career in the oil and gas industry, working for Spark Energy and Tauber Oil, and later founding his own company, Texas Energy Resources. His dedication and hard work in the industry were well recognized.
An informal graveside ceremony will be held for Steve on July 10, 2025, at the Forest Park East Funeral Cemetery in Webster, Texas, starting at 10 AM (Section 205, Lot 220, Space 3).
